Most precipitation occurs during the summer months, the wettest season, the dryer being the fall. New Orleans is one of the top-ten most visited cities in the United State with more than 10 million visitors a year. NoLa public transportation system is comprised of 4 streetcar lines and a network of buses. NoLa is also the 8th city in the U.S. for bicycle and pedestrian transportation.
