Patriot Trails is a classic escorted coach tour through New England, Canada and the U.S. Northeast, designed for travelers who want to experience the historic roots of North America in comfort and depth. The itinerary combines colonial cities, French-Canadian culture, iconic landscapes and legendary American landmarks in one seamless journey.

From Boston, cradle of the American Revolution, the tour travels north through the scenic landscapes of New England to Québec City and Montréal, two of the most fascinating cultural capitals in Canada. The route continues to Toronto and the breathtaking Niagara Falls, one of the great natural wonders of the world.

The final days follow the historic trail back into the United States, crossing Pennsylvania Dutch Country, the battlefields of Gettysburg, and the monuments of Washington, D.C., before ending in New York City, completing a journey rich in history, culture, and unforgettable scenery.

Day-by-day itinerary - Hotel - Extras - Map

Day 1 – Arrival in Boston

Arrive in Boston and transfer independently to your hotel. Meet your Tour Director in the evening. Overnight in Boston.

Day 2 – Boston → New England → Québec City

Travel north through rural New England, crossing into Canada. Enjoy scenic White Mountains views before arriving in Québec City. Optional dinner. Overnight in Québec area.

Day 3 – Québec City → Montréal

Guided tour of Québec City including the Citadel and Parliament Building. Continue to Montréal for overnight.

Day 4 – Montréal → Ottawa → Toronto

Depart Montréal for Ottawa, Canada’s capital. Continue through the Thousand Islands region to Toronto. Overnight in Toronto.

Day 5 – Toronto → Niagara Falls

Morning sightseeing in Toronto, then travel to Niagara Falls. Visit Table Rock and enjoy free time. Overnight near Niagara Falls.

Day 6 – Niagara Falls → Gettysburg → Amish Country

Cross into the USA and travel through New York State to Pennsylvania. Visit Gettysburg National Military Park. Overnight in Amish Country.

Day 7 – Amish Country → Washington, D.C.

Travel through rural Pennsylvania to Washington, D.C. Evening at leisure or optional night tour. Overnight in Washington.

Day 8 – Washington, D.C.

Full city tour including Capitol, White House, Lincoln Memorial and Arlington Cemetery. Overnight in Washington.

Day 9 – Washington, D.C. → Philadelphia → New York

Travel to Philadelphia to see Independence Hall and Liberty Bell. Continue to New York City where the tour ends.
