Western Triangle is an escorted tour designed for first-time visitors and West Coast lovers alike. Experience Los Angeles and Hollywood, enjoy two nights in Las Vegas, explore Yosemite National Park, and end in San Francisco—plus a scenic day along the Pacific Coast with Carmel, Monterey and the famous 17-Mile Drive.
Western Triangle is a classic escorted itinerary that brings together the most requested highlights of the U.S. West Coast: iconic cities, spectacular nature and a memorable stretch of the Pacific shoreline.
Start in Los Angeles with a guided tour featuring Hollywood Boulevard, the Walk of Fame and the Sunset Strip. Then travel through the desert to Las Vegas, where you’ll have an entire day at leisure to explore famous hotels, enjoy optional experiences or simply relax by the pool.
Next, head to Mammoth Lakes (seasonal routing applies) and continue to the world-famous Yosemite National Park, home to granite icons like Half Dome and El Capitan, dramatic waterfalls and incredible scenery.
The tour then reaches the Pacific Coast with a stop in Carmel and the scenic 17-Mile Drive to Monterey, before concluding in San Francisco with a guided city tour and free time.

Day-by-day itinerary - MAP - Hotel - Extras
Day 1 (Monday or Friday) – Arrival in Los Angeles
Welcome to sunny Los Angeles! Upon arrival at LAX, reach your hotel either by the hotel shuttle (if staying at Hilton LAX Airport) or by shared transfer (if staying in Downtown Los Angeles). Check-in and free time.
Day 2 (Tuesday or Saturday) – Los Angeles city tour (half day)
Enjoy a half-day guided tour of Los Angeles. Highlights include Hollywood Boulevard, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, the famous Walk of Fame and the Sunset Strip. The rest of the day is free for further exploration.
Day 3 (Wednesday or Sunday) – Los Angeles → Las Vegas (270 mi / 435 km)
Travel by coach through the desert to Las Vegas. Arrival in the city of lights, where entertainment is guaranteed: casinos open 24/7, top shows, restaurants and unique attractions.
Day 4 (Thursday or Monday) – Las Vegas (free day)
A full day at leisure in Las Vegas. Visit spectacular themed hotels, join optional excursions, go shopping, or simply relax by the pool—Las Vegas truly has something for everyone.
Day 5 (Friday or Tuesday) – Las Vegas → Mammoth Lakes (347 mi / 559 km)
Continue through the Mojave Desert and climb into the Sierra Nevada to reach Mammoth Lakes. This charming mountain town is loved year-round and offers beautiful alpine panoramas.
Day 6 (Saturday or Wednesday) – Mammoth Lakes → Yosemite Area (109 mi / 175 km)
Short drive through the Sierra Nevada to Yosemite National Park, one of California’s most visited natural landmarks. Discover Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, El Capitan and breathtaking waterfalls. Wildlife sightings are possible (deer, coyotes, squirrels—and occasionally bears).
Day 7 (Sunday or Thursday) – Yosemite Area → Carmel → 17-Mile Drive → Monterey → San Francisco (286 mi / 459 km)
Travel west to the Pacific Coast and the seaside town of Carmel. Drive along the famous 17-Mile Drive, known for stunning coastal views, golf courses and local wildlife, then continue to Monterey. Head north to San Francisco, the “City by the Bay”.
Day 8 (Monday or Friday) – San Francisco city tour + free time
Guided tour of San Francisco including Union Square, Chinatown, Golden Gate Park and Fisherman’s Wharf, with views of Alcatraz. Afternoon free or optional excursion to Sausalito.
Day 9 (Tuesday or Saturday) – Departure from San Francisco
Individual departures and transfers to the airport. End of services.

Important Notes
- Some departures may not include Mammoth Lakes; instead, you will stay two nights in the Yosemite area (Day 5: Las Vegas → Yosemite Area / Day 6: Yosemite Area).
- The August 10 departure does not include the 17-Mile Drive due to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance road closure.
- The August 3 departure includes an overnight stay at Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for that stay.
- Child rates apply from 8 to 16 years. Children under 8 are not allowed on this tour.
Cancellation Policy
- Up to 31 days before tour departure: no cancellation fee
- 30 to 16 days before tour departure: 10% cancellation fee
- 15 to 1 day before tour departure: 50% cancellation fee
- Day of departure or no-show: 100% cancellation fee
