DESCRIPTION

The Wild West Tour – Seasonal Overview

If you only have a few days and want to experience the very best of the American West — Pacific coastline towns, iconic cities, and world-class national parks — the 5-Day Wild West Tour is designed for you. The program operates year-round with two seasonal versions tailored to weather and daylight, while keeping the must-see highlights.

  • Summer Itinerary (April 1 – October 31): Focus on the classic West Coast loop with Santa Barbara, Solvang, Carmel/Monterey (Route 1 or 17-Mile Drive), San Francisco with a Bay Cruise and city tour, Yosemite National Park, and on to Las Vegas via the desert.
  • Winter Itinerary (November 1 – March 31): Adds more time on the Central Coast (Monterey Wharf & Cannery Row, Carmel) and adapts mountain/coastal routing as needed, while keeping San Francisco’s Bay Cruise, city highlights, and the desert approach to Las Vegas.

Both versions include a guided Las Vegas Strip tour, a visit to the Hoover Dam, and seamless routing from Los Angeles → California Coast → San Francisco → Desert → Las Vegas → Los Angeles. Expect early starts, scenic drives, and curated photo stops to maximize your time.

Notes: Route choice between Route 1 and the 17-Mile Drive depends on vehicle type and operating conditions. Park/road access may vary with weather or advisories; the order of sightseeing may be adjusted to optimize daylight and safety.

I’m the biggest fan of Fall activities, but haven’t had a chance to do anything beyond Apple Picking in NJ. I decided to take a last minute 2 day trip with a friend in Hudson Valley, but didn’t know where to start [...] Thankfully I was able to use New York Welcome to do the hard work for us [...]

Irene was a FANTASTIC tour guide! She was so knowledgeable about the area and was so patient with all our questions. We stopped to use the bathroom and we got coffee halfway through, she was so kind! It was a pleasure learning about Brooklyn from you!
