The Exploratorium Museum just underwent an extensive renovation and starting April 2013, the Museum found its new Home at Pier 15 right on the Bay! The Msueum now features an incredible all-glass-and-steel- Bay Observatory from where you can enjoy some of the most breathtaking views of the bay and city skyline!

The Exploratorium remain the global leader in informal learning, igniting curiosity and inspiring creativity in people of all ages. Explore nearly 600 hands-on exhibits, including 150 new experiences! Explore the environment with artworks, installations, and exhibits in the Outdoor Gallery.

Find out how we interpret our surroundings and interact with one another in the West Gallery. Experiment with the sights, sounds, and experiences of perception in the Central Gallery. Examine life at different scales—from tiny microbes to the interconnected ecosystems of the bay—in the East Gallery.
