If you only have a few days and want to experience the very best of the “desert region and Western National Parks” — including the Grand Canyon and the spectacular landscapes around Las Vegas — this tour is perfect for you!
Depending on the time of year, you can choose between two seasonal itineraries:
On both versions you will journey through four states — California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah — discovering ancient landscapes sculpted over billions of years. It’s a packed adventure, covering many miles to reach the main canyons and parks, but the breathtaking scenery makes every moment worthwhile.
Departure: Every Thursday – April 1 to October 31
Depart eastbound from Los Angeles, crossing the desert to reach the world’s gambling capital: Las Vegas.
Stop for lunch at the outlet mall on the Nevada State Line, home to top brand stores such as Levi’s, Nike, Reebok, Timberland, and more.
In the evening, join a guided tour of the Las Vegas Strip to see iconic themed hotels including Caesar’s Palace, The Mirage, Luxor, Paris, Mandalay Bay, New York-New York, and Treasure Island. End the night with an optional show or try your luck at one of the casinos.
Overnight: Harrah’s Hotel, Las Vegas
Travel southeast through the desert and the Navajo Indian Reservation to reach the South Rim of the Grand Canyon — one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Enjoy a scenic drive along the South Rim and learn how the Colorado River carved this geological wonder. After lunch, continue eastward, stopping at Native American markets to browse handmade arts and crafts.
Overnight: Clarion Inn, Page
Visit Lower Antelope Canyon, known in Navajo as the place “where water runs through rocks.” Admire the spectacular sandstone formations shaped by centuries of wind, water, and sand.
In the afternoon, travel to Bryce Canyon National Park to see its world-famous hoodoos. Experience the magical color changes at sunset from one of the park’s vista points (subject to seasonal timing).
Overnight: Quality Inn, Kanab – On certain departures: Comfort Inn, Cedar City
After breakfast, explore Zion National Park, named by Mormon settlers who felt its cliffs and wilderness provided a spiritual experience.
Enjoy a short walk along the Virgin River before returning to Las Vegas for an early evening arrival.
