If you are visiting San Francisco and spending a couple of days in the Bay Area, don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a day trip to California Wine Country! Escorted by an official tour guide, you will spend a full day of fun and relax while visiting some wineries located in Napa and Sonoma. There, you will learn about wine making techniques, taste some of their wines and tour the estates.

Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge you will leave the city of San Francisco behind you and you will find yourself surrounded by rugged coastline and gentle green slopes. Quite a different panorama! During the Tour you will hear interesting facts regarding the history of wine making from the Spanish missionaries, who brought the grape vines from Europe, to the Forty-Niners serving wines in their saloons.
During the tour you will have the chance to experiment every step of winemaking, from picking and crushing the grapes, to blending and bottling the wine. You will tour the estates with your tour guide; you will stop at boutique and large-scale wineries, so you can get to see the difference between their two techniques and final products.
