A trip to San Francisco is not complete without the half day excursion to Muir Woods and Sausalito. With this tour you will be able to get a “taste” of California, with its amazing and diverse landscapes and the charming coastal towns. You will drive across the impressive Golden Gate Bridge, you will pass by the famous rugged coast of Marin County, one of the richest counties in California and in the United States, and then you will reach Muir Woods National Monument. Here you will stop to experience the magnificence of the Giant Redwoods. These are the oldest and tallest Sequoia-trees still existing today in the whole world.

After spending some time “in the wild” and experiencing this amazing and unique landscape, you will reach Sausalito, the famous coastal town rich of boutiques, marinas, fine dining, Mediterranean-vibe and known to be offering some great panoramic views of San Francisco’s Skyline and the entire Bay Area.
The Tour stops for 1-hour in Sausalito, but if you like, you are more than welcome to extend your stay and return to San Francisco, at your leisure, by ferry-boat. (Ferry ticket not included!). The Ferry passes Alcatraz Island, and offers spectacular views of the San Francisco skyline. The Ferry docks at Pier 41, in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf!
